Product Name 400 "Old Style"
Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany -- 1950-4. After 1954 the cap band showed the model number. This may be the export model, as it has a large "G" about an inch from the end of the barrel.

Filling System Piston filling system. Tested and working well.
Color Green striped barrel, black cap, end piece, and section. Top of cap is black with the pelican logo. Gold plated trim. The color is really nice.

Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or dents. This is a classic pen style in a desireable color and with excellent barrel transparency. The barrel has light to some moderate scratching with a few long scratch lines. There is a "G" imprinted mid-barrel. The end of the barrel has a personalization, "Gunther Wagner". The black blind cap has a green "F" imprinted (for fine). The cap has great dark black coloring. It has light to moderate scratching. There is small hole under the bottom end of the clip and you can see shiny metal. The cap band has plating wear along the lower edge as well as light scratching. The clip has light scratching and plating wear along the lower edge. The thin clip ring has brassing and plating wear. The top gold piece has a few tiny dings. The top black piece with the pelican looks good. The imprints are clear.
