Color Tortoiseshell barrel, with vermeil cap and piston knob with lengthwise lines. The cap is hallmarked, and the original brochure indicates that both cap and piston knob are gold-plated sterling silver, or vermeil. This is the "light tortoiseshell" - in some places it's referred to as Light Green Tortoise.
Nib FINE 18c two-toned nib.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, with paperwork. This is a gorgeous, elegant, and highly desirable pen. The barrel has some microscratching that is difficult to see because of the patterning. The cap is vermeil (gold over sterling silver) with some microscratching and light polishing marks. There is some patina peeking through on the cap lip. The trim ring nearest the nib has some brassing. The guilloche patterning on the cap looks great. The barrel transparency is fantastic. The imprints and "Ag925" on the cap are clear. Ships in original box with paperwork, as well as outer cardboard box specifying the model.
