Color Tortoiseshell barrel, with vermeil cap and piston knob with lengthwise lines. (The cap is hallmarked, and the original brochure indicates that both cap and piston knob are gold-plated sterling silver, or vermeil) The original clip tag is present. This is the "light tortoiseshell" - in some places it's referred to as Light Green Tortoise.
Nib OBLIQUE BROAD 18c two-toned nib.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, with paperwork. The pen has not been inked. This is a gorgeous, elegant, and highly desireable pen. The barrel has some microscratching that is difficult to see because of the patterning. The cap is vermeil (gold over sterling silver) with some microscratching and light polishing marks. The guilloche patterning on the cap looks great. The barrel transparency is fantastic. The imprints and "Ag925" on the cap are clear. Ships in original box with paperwork and clip tag, as well as outer cardboard box specifying the model.
