Product Name M800 Expo 2000 Hanover "Technology". There was a series of 3 pens released circa 1999 .... first was the red "Humankind," second was the green "Nature," and third was the blue "Technology."
Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany - 2000. This pen is marked "Germany"
Length 5-1/2 inches.
Filling System Piston-filling system. Tested and working well.
Color The barrel is engraved and perforated on a vermeil (gold plated over sterling) sleeve. The cap, piston knob, and section are blue. The top of the cap has the Pelikan logo.
Nib Medium 18k gold nib embellished with platinum.
Condition Excellent + condition. There is light scratching on the cap and barrel, with a few more moderate scratches on the cap and piston knob. The barrel overlay has polishing marks and some areas where the gold-plating has noticeably thinned, but overall looks very clean and shiny. This is a large, heavy, and beautifully engraved pen. Tested and working well. The imprints are clear.
Includes pen, printed grey-black SE box, pen box with metal spine, and two small booklets (one of which is the certificate). All serial numbers are in agreement.
