Nib SEF - 14k gold Soft Extra-Fine nib and Soft Fine nibs. (Select nib from pull down menu.) Pilot doesn't advertise this as a "flex" pen, though it has that reputation in the fountain pen community; it's semi-flexible at best. The softness of the nib is such that if you want to use it for daily writing you can, without having to flex it out. If you do want to showcase line variation, all you need to do is hold the pen at a low angle to the paper, and increase your writing pressure on the downstrokes and it's there for when you need it. It does provide noticeable line variation, but you can easily overdo it; be aware of that as you use the pen. We cannot offer a refund on a sprung or damaged nib.
Condition Mint condition. The pen has never been inked. No scratches, cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The trim all looks perfect. Ships in box with paperwork.
