Product Description
Type Slim fountain pen and mechanical pencil set
Product Name Menuet?? - we're not quite sure on the name. Pilot had a model called the "Minuet" which looks quite similar, but those had a slightly different clip. The cap areas of these have an inscription that looks like it says "me-nu-et" in script, so that's what we're calling it.
Manufacturer and Year Pilot, Japan - 1980s or 1990s?
Length The fountain pen is 5-1/4" long, and the pencil is a bit taller at 5-5/16".
Filling System The fountain pen uses Pilot cartridges or converter - we tested an older Con-B squeeze converter and it fits, and we have installed a converter. The pencil takes 0.5mm leads.
Color Ivory Pearl with gold-plated trim. The lacquer is a lovely off-white color with an understated pink pearlescence.
Nib Fine gold-plated steel nib. Firm and smooth.
Condition NOS condition, with minor storage wear only. Price stickers still attached and in good shape.
