Product Description
Type Capless fountain pen -- the nib retracts like a ballpoint
Product Name Vanishing Point
Manufacturer and Year Pilot (Namiki) Japan -- 2009 (date code on nib is A909, but we think the nib has been changed out).
Length 5-5/8"
Filling System Pilot cartridge or converter. A piston converter is installed. The metal tube required while using cartridges is not included, but if you need one just let us know.
Color Shiny brown with rhodium plated trim. The color in the photos is darker than the actual dark chocolate brown of the pen.
Nib BROAD 18k gold nib. The nib would have originally been masked top match the trim, so this gold-colored nib must have been a replacement.
Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. We believe this pen has never been inked. This is a dark brown, shiny pen that looks great. The cap and barrel have a few thin microscratches and light scratches. The cap band looks great. The clicker has very light microscratches. The clip and cone are lovely. The imprints are clear.
