Manufacturer and Year Namiki (Pilot), Japan -- 1998, these Namiki branded VPs were made between 1994-9. This nib has a A998 date code, so the pen was made in 1998.

Filling System Pilot cartridge or converter. A good CON-20 squeeze converter is installed. There is a cartridge cover that we recommend using if you want to use a cartridge. It allows the clicker mechanism to work better. There is one in the box.
Color Faceted dark green with gunmetal colored trim.
Nib FINE 14k nib is smooth and somewhat firm with lovely tipping material. Marked F.
Condition Excellent + condition, in a black leather box, with paperwork. This is a unique, stylish pen, in a dark green color. The cap and barrel have a few light scratches and a few little marks. No cracks. The trim looks great. The imprints are clear. Included in the paperwork is a "certificate of retirement", announcing the retirement of the Namiki Vanishing Point in the United States. The outer cardboard box is also stamped "Retirement Certificate Enclosed".
