Product Description
Type Sterling Japanese pen
Product Name Sterling Collection - Tiger. We think this is the continuation of the Art Craft Silver series from the 1990s.
Manufacturer and Year Pilot, Japan -- 2012 (the date code is a clear 1212).
Length 5-1/2"
Filling System Takes Pilot/Namiki-style cartridges and converters. Despite being a premium fountain pen model, this particular pen does not take the more elaborate Pilot CON-70 button converter which is too long to fit in the barrel. A CON-50 converter is installed.
Color Sterling silver with an engraved design including a large tiger and several sticks of bamboo.
Nib FINE 18k nib. It is rhodium plated and writes smoothly. Japanese fine nibs run narrow.
Condition Superior condition. Because it is sterling silver, any handwear or polishing marks are noticeable. There are no dents, major scratches, or marks. The pen looks great with no brassing on the non-sterling trim. The patterning is clear. No box or paperwork.
