Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name 3776 Balance Maestro
Manufacturer and Year Platinum, Japan -- late 1990s - early 2000s
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System It takes Platinum cartridges or converters. A cartridge is included.
Color Black barrel and cap with gold-plated trim.
Nib ULTRA EXTRA FINE gold plated nib. NOTE: This puts down a very fine line. You'll need to use a very light hand - too much pressure will literallly cut the paper!
Condition Near mint in box condition, never inbked. There is microscratching on the cap and barrel, which may be storage wear. The clip is excellent with just a few microscratches. The imprints are clear. The box is in great shape, with just some light storage wear and scratching.
Note on this model: This pen is one of Platinum's 3776 line, but it is NOT a Century. It lacks the Slip-n-Seal cap, and also features a gold-plated steel nib rather than gold. The nib has the same shape of the Century line, and also comes in a wider variety of nib widths than other steel-nibbed Platinum fountain pens. This is a great opportunity to try out a UEF nib at a lower price than the gold-nibbed option.
