Product Name Marked 3776 on the cap band. This model is officially called "Gathered," but more commonly called "Ribbed."
Manufacturer and Year Platinum, Japan -- 1980s, the model came out in 1978 but this matches the 1979 version. There is a modern version of this design but it has some differences.

Filling System Platinum cartridge or converter fill. A converter is installed.
Color Dark red with gold plated trim.
Nib ULTRA-EXTRA-FINE 14k nib.
Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen, with a deep ridges that facilitate grip. The section and barrel have a small amount of microscratching especially near the end of the barrel. The cap has light scratching alongside the clip. The gold plated bands and clip have microscratching. The imprints are clear.
