Type One-of-a-kind fountain pen made in Conway Stewart material and fitted with a vintage flexible nib
Product Name This is one of our prototypes, no name for the model.
Manufacturer and Year Peyton Street Pens, nib was made by Eversharp in the late 1940s.
Length 5-7/8" with cap, 5-3/8" without cap. The pen posts, and is 6-11/16" long when you do so (Note that the cap does not fit snugly on the barrel end, and may wiggle if you write with the cap posted).
Filling System Button-filler. You unscrew the blind cap on the end of the barrel, put the nib in ink, and express the button a few times. Then wait a few seconds and remove the nib from the ink. (We will send instructions for how to use this filling system.) The button does not need to move much to compress the sac, but you do need to press firmly. DO NOT UNSCREW THE SECTION! This will damage the pen.
Color Conway Stewart "Amethyst Fleck" material . The blind cap, section, and cap finial are alumilite, cast by Peyton Street Pens, in a dark purple color. Handcast sterling silver "turtle" rollstop, and textured cap band.
Nib FLEXIBLE medium. 14k Eversharp nib, taken from a Symphony 917, but it was also the nib used on some Skylines. See writing sample below.
Condition Perfect, brand new. It will be shipped in one of our Peyton Street Pens gift boxes.
