Length Full length 4-7/8", it has the appearance of a long but slender pen.
Filling System Lever filler. We've fully restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black hard rubber with rolled gold overlay. The cap and barrel have a fleur de lis pattern. The trim is gold filled and the section is black. This is a promotional version with a cap inset advertising an insurance company (The Home Insurance Company).
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE Redipoint St. Paul #2 14k gold nib is smooth. The pen writes somewhere between a fine and extra fine unflexed and goes to a nice double broad with low preasure. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The fleu de lis patterning is well defined and the gold plating is in great condition. There is a line on the barrel from capping but it's not very obvious. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
