A new sac has been installed.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with gold filled trim. There is an ornate 1" cap band with a swirling floral pattern.
Nib Ryrie Bros. 14k #3 flexible nib. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a striking pen with a wonderful wide barrel band that hides the filling system. There is some slight fading of the black hard rubber, but it's still quite dark. The chasing pattern on the cap is strong and clear. The chasing on the barrel is worn down but still visible. The ornate gold band has a 1/2" long scratch in the cartouche, and a small splotch of plating loss, but is otherwise lovely. The imprints are clear.
