Color Black Luster - shiny black body, with "Black Ion" plated trim. Note that the section is also black plated, so if you don't like a metal section, you might not like this one.
Nib Extra-Fine 21k nib marked "H-EF". Black Ion plated to match the rest of the pen's furniture. Sailor has begun including the following notice with all pens sold with the Black Ion-Plated nib: "Please note the 21k solid gold nib on this pen is specially ion-plated to give the unique color. Only Sailor inks should be used with this pen to avoid damage to the nib plating."
Condition Mint condition for this beautiful substantial pen that is housed in its original Sailor box with a converter and some black Sailor cartridges. When we received this pen it was still sealed in the bag and has never been inked, however we did open the bag to take the photos. The cap band, clip, and trim are beautiful. No cracks, chips, dings, or dents. The imprints are clear. Box includes pen, cartridges and converter, paperwork, and polishing cloth.
