Color Black Luster - shiny black body, with "Black Ion" plated trim. Note that the section is also black plated, so if you don't like a metal section, you might not like this one.
Nib Medium 21k nib marked "H-M". Black Ion plated to match the rest of the pen's furniture. Sailor has begun including the following notice with all pens sold with the Black Ion-Plated nib: "Please note the 21k solid gold nib on this pen is specially ion-plated to give the unique color. Only Sailor inks should be used with this pen to avoid damage to the nib plating."
Condition Near mint condition for this beautiful substantial pen that is housed in its original Sailor box with an installed converter. There is faint microscratching on the body of the pen. The plating is also very delicate and you'll notice some unevenness in the photos. It's not visible in hand, and may just be a patina that the finish has acquired. Aside from those, the cap band, clip, and trim are beautiful. No scratches, cracks, chips, dings, or dents. The imprints are clear. Never inked.
