Manufacturer and Year Secretary, a sub-brand of Newark Pen Co., a third tier company, made in USA – circa later 1930s earlier '40s.
Length A little over 4-7/8".
Filling System Lever filler. We restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Blue plastic cap and barrel with gold plated trim, a 1/8" cap band, and an arrow shaped clip. Black end jewels.
Nib SEMI-FLEX FINE 14k Secretary nib is fairly smooth with very good tipping. It flexes easily from fine to a fat medium, and with a little pressure to broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition. There are a few small scratches on the cap and barrel and the end jewels. Most of the gold plating has worn off the trim (see photos). There's a little spot of discoloration on the barrel, perhaps a black ink stain. The imprint is quite clear. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. It's restored and working very well.
