Product Description
Type Snorkel fountain pen in great working condition
Product Name Admiral Snorkel
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, Canada - 1952-9
Length 5-5/8"
Filling System Snorkel filler. We've fully restored the system with a new sac, point gasket, and O-ring. It's working perfectly, and we'll send in instructions on how to use this filling system.
Color Buckskin Tan body and cap with gold plated trim. This is one of the harder to find colors, though not super rare like Periwinkle and Peacock.
Nib EXTRA-FINE 14k open nib. It's marked on the nib, but there is a sticker present on the section (see pictures). It is in great condition, with a nice tipping, and feels quite smooth and has a bit of softness.
Condition Excellent + condition. There's some light scratching on the cap, and minor wear on the barrel. The cap band has some spots of plating wear along the lower edge. The clip looks great. The cap threads look perfect, with no plating wear. No chips, cracks, deep scratches, or personalization. The color is quite nice, and does not appear to have faded or changed over the years. It's restored and working very well. The imprints are crisp and clear.
