Product Description
Type Lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Balance 350, this is the long slender version.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1936-42 (those were the years these pens were made in this color and with this type of clip).
Length 5-7/16 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Gray striated celluloid. Chrome plated trim.
Nib FINE 14k Sheaffer's #3 nib is fairly smooth with a nice quantity of tipping material. It has a little give to it, but no real flex.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. The clip shows some brassing and wear. (The appearance of the clip in the photo is much worse than it looks in person.) There are some small marks and scratches on the cap and barrel, but generally the pen looks quite good. The imprint is clear and easily readable. There is a tiny indentation above the imprint. The viewing section is very transparent with only slight wear. We've fully restored the pen and it's working very well.
