Product Name Balance Lifetime model with a white dot (military clip version). This "Vigiliant" version is sometimes marked 875, and there's one larger size.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1940-2 (those were the years this pen was made with this kind of clip).

Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Golden brown striated with gold plated trim, a white dot on the cap below the clip, and a military style clip.
Nib FINE two-tone 14k Lifetime nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is a nice-sized pen, with pretty striated pattering and in a lovely shades of brown. The cap and barrel have light to moderate wear. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and a blotch of scratching/surface imperfection below the lever. The lever has light scratching as well as a line of pitting at the top. The cap band has small scratches all over and a few small pits. The military clip has plating wear along the front edge and some tiny dots of pitting here and there. The white dot, which is more of a cream color, is perfect. The imprints are nice and clear.
