Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- this color was used in 1936-9.
Length 5-1/2" long and a bit stout
Filling System Sheaffer's Vac-fil mechanism. We've restored it with new seals and it's working very well.
Color "Rose Glow" aka pink and grey striated celluloid. Gold plated trim with a single cap band and a flat ball humped clip.
Nib MEDIUM 14k two-toned Sheaffer's Lifetime nib has a bit of a Waverly upturn, and is smooth with lovely tipping material. It's fairly firm. Serial number 6539919.
Condition Excellent condition. The clip has some plating wear at both ends and along the sides. The top of the cap has some scratches and a few fissures that radiate from the peak (common with the striated patterns). The cap band has some brassing along the bottom edge. The barrel has light microscratching and handwear. There are no cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. It's fully restored and working well.
