Type Vintage oversized fountain pen in excellent working condition
Product Name Balance (no model number marked, but this is a full length, fat pen .... not quite oversized)
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - circa 1936 - 1942 (based on the radius clip and material).
Length 5-5/16" long.
Filling System Vacuum filler. We've restored the system and it's working very well.
Color Golden Brown striated with gold plated trim.
Nib Medium #5 nib. It's firm and smooth, with excellent tipping remaining.
Condition Excellent + condition. There is moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. The clip has some light brassing on the ball end. The cap band looks great, with no visible dings or brassing. The barrel clarity is excellent. The imprint is very clear. It's restored and working well.
