Product Name Model #872, from the Balance II series, the revival series of the 1930s Balance pens.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- this color came out in 1998.
Length 5-3/4 inches.
Filling System Takes Sheaffer style cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink via the included piston converter.
Color Navy blue resin acrylic with gold plated trim and a 1/8" cap bands. There is a white dot above the clip.
Nib Left Oblique Lifetime nib. This is the correct nib for the early solid color Balance II pens. The nib has been inked but it is in great condition with no corrosion on the collar and only a little wear to the masking on the nib.
Condition Barrel and cap are new old stock but the nib has been inked. This is a shiny, classic, full-sized pen. Mint condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, plating wear, or even scratching.
