Product Name "Millennium Edition" Sheaffer's name for this product line was Balance II. It was a revival of the Balance pens of the 1930s. Model #891.

Filling System The fountain pen takes Sheaffer cartridges or converters. A piston converter is installed. The ballpoint pen takes standard Sheaffer ballpoint refills. A working refill is installed. Both pieces working well. Filling systems guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase, but we make no promises about how long the ballpoint refill will last.
Color Beautiful marbled dark blue and indigo with gold plated trim. Both pieces include the signature white dot above the clip.

Condition Excellent + condition, in box. No cracks, and no chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny, pen set that has a true vintage appearance. The fountain pen barrel has light to some moderate scratching. The cap looks excellent with just light scratching, mainly microscratching. The double cap bands and clip have light microscratching. The ballpoint pen cap and barrel have light scratching. The cone, double cap band, and clip have light microscratching. Both white dots above the clips on the pens are perfect. All imprints are clear. Original box, but it is missing the lower part of the box interior, the part that goes under the pillow. This missing packaging does keep the box from putting pressure on the writing instruments, which have been known to acquire cracks if the box is too tight.
