Imprinted with the name "I. MAGNIN & Co. " on the barrel. (This pen likely came from their San Francisco offices or store, because in the late 1920s they only had those operations and some boutiques in high-end Callifornia hotels.) Excellent condition. Extremely shiny, with only a little brassing on the trim. (Clip ball and high parts of the clip, and the cap band has a very thin strip of brassing along one edge.) We're seeing what may be a very short horizontal crack running thru the T in LIFETIME. The mark may in fact be a scratch, it's just too small to tell. We did not take the nib off the feed, so we were unable to examine it from the underside. |
