Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer 1930s (they produced this pattern from 1929 to 1934, and used this clip starting 1934, so that dates this pen to 1934)
Length 5-1/2" ... this is the full size model, but not the fat oversized version.
Filling System Lever filler - restored and working perfectly
Color Black celluloid embedded with "floating" pieces of cream colored celluloid. Gold plated trim. Very even color with virtually no discoloration.
Nib Lifetime nib is in excellent condition. The tipping material is good and it writes very smoothly. Very little flex. Somewhere between fine and extra fine.
Condition Superior condition with only minor scratches and some hand wear. A little brassing on the clip ball and band. A few scratches on the feed. No cracks in the cap lip. Very even color from cap to body. Strong imprint. No engraving.
We do not recommend posting the pen. That's how cap cracks are created, and this particular color is prone to cracking.
Restored and ready to write. We will guarantee it for a period of one year.
