Product Name Balance Lifetime (this is an oversized model and very fat).
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1935-42 (those were the years they made the Balance with this "radius" clip).

Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working perfectly.
Color Jet Black with gold plated trim, a 1/8" wide cap band, and a radius style clip. Amber viewing window. White dot above the clip.
Nib EXTRA-FINE gold Lifetime nib. The nib is large. It has a serial number: 4543192
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a fat pen in shiny, velvety black with a vintage look and in a classic design. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and moderate scratching, including some long scratch marks. The lever looks nice. The cap has scratches, with some deep, spidery scratches at the very top of the cap and, as well, a few small, deep marks. The cap band has moderate microscratching but no plating wear. The clip has some small scratch marks near the end and otherwise light microscratching. The white dot looks good. The imprints are clear.
