Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- early 1920s, according to Jonathan Veley's excellent Mechanical Pencil Museum website (see: http://www.jonathanveley.com/mechanical-pencil-museum?id=61).
Length Just over 4-9/16 inches.
Filling System Takes 1.1 mm lead which it extends and retracts well via the traditional twist mechanism.
Color Gold filled pencil with a scallop pattern. The top of the barrel tapers out.
Condition Excellent condition, no cracks, chips, or personalization. The clip is a bit flat and there is a band of brassing on the cone. The edge of the flat top also has some plating wear. Overall though the pencil looks really good. The pencil is working well.
