Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer USA - this model ran from about 1952 to '63, but at some point they changed their design to have a section which matched the color of the body. Before that, all sections on these pens were black. This section matches the color of the body.

Filling System The pen has "Tip-Dip" filling system, which is a variation of the touchdown system, and we'll include instructions on its use. It has been restored and is working well.
Color Blue with chrome plated trim.
Nib EXTRA-FINE Sheaffer's X1 steel nib.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny pen in a classic design and with a bright and desireable color. The cap and barrel have moderate scratching. The cap band has heavy microscratching and plating wear, especially along the bottom edge. The clip has heavy scratch marks with plating wear and a tad of pitting along the right edge. The section has The imprints are clear.
