Product Description
Type Fountain pen, restored and working well
Product Name Clipper Snorkel (The Clipper is like the Sentinel, but with a PdAg nib instead of a two-tone 14k nib.)
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - 1952-59
Length 5-9/16"
Filling System Snorkel filler. We've restored it with a new sac, O-ring and point gasket, and it's working perfectly. We'll send instructions on how to use the filling system.
Color Pastel green body with stainless steel cap and gold plated trim. The cap has a pattern of lines in it.
Nib FINE Palladium-silver alloy (PdAg) Triumph style nib. It is (faintly) marked F4. Very slight up-turn on the tip.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap is slightly dulled with microscratching, and has one tiny dent at the very top. The gold trim looks really good, no brassing or plating wear. The barrel has handwear and microscratching, but no significant individual scratches, cracks, or chips. The section threads look really good, no plating loss. The barrel imprint is slightly worn but still quite readable. The pen is restored and working well.
