Condition Very nice condition. Almost perfect except for a very fine hairline crack on the top "dome" piece (see photos); it looks like fine scratch so it is easy to miss. This is a dark black, beautifully chased pen, that is shiny and impressive. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and moderate scratching near the end. The cap is in excellent condition. The end pieces on the cap and barrel have some tiny scratch marks. The gold bands as well as the cap bands have microscratching. The clip has pitting on the ball end, and the trim ring on the section shows plating loss due to contact with ink. The white dot is perfect. The imprints are clear.
