Type Vintage touchdown filling fountain pen.
Product Name Target (which later changed to the Imperial III), this is the touchdown version with an unmarked Palladium Silver triumph nib.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – circa early 1960s.

Filling System Touchdown filling system. It's fully restored and working perfectly.
Color Dark blue body and cap with gold plated trim. It has a 1/4" band. Original nib size sticker is on the section.
Nib BROAD two-tone palladium silver nib. The gold color is masking. You'll see these Imperial IIIs with both single tone palladium silver nibs and two tone nibs. There's a "waverly" upturn.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks for this classic pen in a deep blue color that is shiny. The section has a few long lines to the right of the broad sticker caused by the cap. The barrel has light to moderate scratching with a few long, thin marks. One corner of the end piece is chipped. The cap has moderate scratching and microscratching. The cap band has moderate microscratching with a line of plating wear on the lower edge. The clip has light scratching. The imprints are clear.
