Product Name Legacy 1 - this is from the first Legacy series, which had a unique filling system in that you can use the piston "Touchdown" filler as well as cartridges.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - probably made between 1995 and '99.

Filling System Touchdown filling system. Tested and working well. You can also use a Sheaffer squeeze converter, or Sheaffer cartridges.
Color Black laque barrel and section with brushed gold cap and gold trim. White dot at the top of the clip. Wide 3/8" gold plated cap band.
Nib MEDIUM 18k long diamond nib.
Condition Near mint condition, in box, with paperwork and no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large, shiny pen that is elegant in appearance. The barrel looks fantastic. The section has a few long thin marks caused by capping. The brushed gold cap is perfect. The wide cap band has light microscratching. The clip is lovely. The white dot is perfect. The imprint (on the upper edges of the clip) is clear.
