Condition The pen is in excellent condition with nice color. There is a slight darkening on the barrel. The barrel is personalized with the name "Sol W. Bernstein". The top of the cap has a lot of shallow, smoothed out bite marks. The cap band is almost completely brassed except for the area just below the clip. The clip looks pretty good, with some brassing on the top edge and also around the ball end. No cracks on the lip of the cap (NOTE: You may do damage if you post the cap on the barrel. The barrel is long and comfortable to write with, without posting the cap.) The lever bar has plating wear along the edges, but the top surface looks great. The imprint is crisp and and easy to read. It has been restored with a new sac and the filling system is working well.
