Filling System Lever filler, restored with a new sac and working perfectly.
Color Black chased hard rubber with gold plated trim. Lined pattern. (We usually see this pen in black radite/celluloid, and the hard rubber version is less common.)
Nib FINE 14k Lifetime nib is large. It has serial number 1516874
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a substantial, dark black, shiny pen with a clear line pattern and that looks fantastic. The cap and barrel have very few scratches. The barrel has some light scratching near the end. The lever looks very good, with a bit of brassing toward the top and a line of pitting across the very top. The cap has a few tiny scratch marks toward the top but it is otherwise excellent all around. The cap band has brassing and plating wear along the edges. The clip has brassing on the ball end (as well as plating wear) and brassing along the top edge. It looks very nice. The imprints are clear.
