Sheaffer Lifetime Triumph fountain pen in brown striated. Fine nib, restored Vac-Fil. Excellent condition with only light signs of usage.

Type  Fountain pen 

Product Name  Sheaffer Lifetime Triumph 1250. This model is the fat, pre-war version with the wide cap band.

Manufacturer and Year  Sheaffer, USA -- circa 1942

Length  5-1/8"

Filling System  Vac-filler, which we have restored. It's working very well. 

Color  Brown striated with gold plated trim. The cap band is 7/8" wide with decorative lines etched in. The non-brown stripes are a semi-transparent amber brown.

Nib  Medium two-tone 14k Lifetime Triumph nib. It's firm and smooth. There are some polishing marks on the nib but the silver colored masking is intact. 

Condition  Excellent condition, no cracks, only signs of light usage. The imprint is excellent. The top of the clip has a couple of scratch marks, but they don't break through to the base metal. There is no brassing on the trim. The imprint and barrel transparency are perfect. The cap band is barrel is personalized with the intials "J L S" (see photos below for detail).

Domestic US Shipping Policy: For the most part, shipping to US addresses is free and is made via first class mail.

International Shipping PolicyInternational shipping is based on weight, and we give you a choice (depending on country) of first class, first class registered, priority mail or express delivery (only Express Mail provides true tracking). Internatonal shipments valued at over $40 come with free insurance, unless that service is not available for your specific country. Most of our customers opt for the very reasonably priced first class mail method, which can take anywhere from one to four weeks. We are happy to discuss alternatives to the options currently offered during the checkout process, so please contact us if you'd like a quote.

Most countries charge customs fees on shipments from the United States, but this is not something we can estimate and there is no way to pay these fees in advance. It is the responsibility of the customer to anticipate these costs and pay them when they are assessed by your country or postal system. We have heard that shipments valued at 50 EU or more get assessed fees in EU countries, for example.
