Product Name Sheaffer Lifetime Triumph, marked as 1250. This model is the pre-war version with the wide cap band.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA -- 1940s, the line was introduced in 1942 and was fazed out in the 1950s.
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Vac-filler (works well, just restored here at Peyton Street Pens).
Color Green striated with gold plated trim. The cap band is 5/8" wide with decorative lines etched in. The non-green stripes are a semi-transparent yellow green. This color is called Marine Green and matches the second green in the Balance line.
Nib Medium two-tone 14k Lifetime Triumph nib. It's firm and smooth. There's some polishing marks on the nib but the silver colored masking is intact.
Condition Excellent condition with microscratches on the cap and a few other scratches throughout. The worst set of scratches are to the right of the clip. The cap band has two dents next to each other just to the left of the clip. The imprint is perfect and includes a 1250 that doesn't really show in the photograph.
