Product Description
Type Modern cartridge/converter filling fountain pen, working well.
Product Name No Nonsense, this is one of the nicer "Old Timer" models which have gold plated trim and nib, and a small top piece the same color as the body of the pen. (You can distinguish between this pen and the black "Vintage" No Nonsense by the fact that it is slightly longer by 1/16" from the regular No Nonsense pens. This increase in length is due to a small black piece that Sheaffer fitted to the top of the cap which effectively plugged the indentation and gave the pen its solid flat top. You can see a small line at the top of the cap, where this insert sits).
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer – circa 1990s or 2000s.
Length 5-1/4 inches.
Filling System It takes Sheaffer cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink via the included piston converter.
Color Black plastic with a chased herringbone pattern. This is meant to look like the chased hard rubber pens from the early 1900s. It has gold plated trim.
Nib Fine gold plated Sheaffer USA nib marked F.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a classically designed pen with strong, dark color and perfect chasing. The cap and barrel look wonderful.
