Filling System The snorkel works in combination with the Touchdown filling system. You unscrew the knob to extend the snorkel, pull out the piston, immerse it in ink, and push the piston down. Wait 10 seconds and allow the bladder to expand and pull the ink in. Then screw the knob to retract the snorkel, and you are good to go. No need to wipe ink off of anything!
We restored the filling system and tested it for leaks. We replaced the O-ring in the barrel as well as the ink sac and point gasket.
Color Dark blue with stainless steel trim.
Nib Fine PdAg (Palladium Silver) nib. It is smooth and writes well. Palladium springs easily so be careful when using this nib and do not try to flex it.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large-sized, impressive pen in a nice deep color, and with good shine. The cap and barrel have light with some moderate scratching. The heavier scratching is at the end of the barrel and near the top of the cap. The cap band and clip have light scratching. The imprint is clear.
