Color Burgundy body with the Sentinel cap, which is stainless steel with gold plated clip and cap band. The steel has a lined pattern. Black ridged section. White dot above the clip.
Nib FINE 14k gold Sheaffer's Triumph style nib is smooth and firm, verging on the medium. It is two-toned and has a slight "Waverly" upturn.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen, that is a true classic. The barrel has light scratching. The cap has light to moderate scratching, mainly microscratching, but with a few small, deeper scratches and with a few small dents near the top of the cap. The cap band has moderate microscratching and a thin line of plating wear along the bottom edge. The clip has plating wear on the very tip, and on the top, light microscratching. The white dot is crackled and a bit yellow. The imprint is clear.
