Product Name Sheaffer Statesman - this is a "fat" model, so it was made in the first two years of Touchdown production.

Filling System Touchdown filler. We've replaced the sac and the O-ring. It's fully restored and working very well.
Color Solid burgundy cap and barrel with a 1/4" cap band and a clear viewing window. There is a white dot near the top of the cap, but it's taken on a red color from the cap material. The trim is gold plated.
Nib FINE 14k open nib is two-toned. It has a serial number BO1974.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The cap and barrel have some light scratching. The barrel has posting marks and some bite marks on the blind cap. The cap has some heavier scratch marks to the right of the clip, near the open end. The cap band is beautiful and so is the clip. The imprints are somewhat faded, but clear.
