Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen, almost perfect working condition
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Univer Pen Company, a Sheaffer sub-brand. This model is probably from the 1930s.
Length 4-3/8"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working perfectly.
Color Black and pearl with gold plated trim. The pearl color has faded to a sort of amber, or even caramel in some places.
Nib FINE Univer #2 nib, it seems to be gold, though it's not marked. Firm and smooth with nice tipping.
Condition Very nice condition. It's somewhat scratched on the cap and barrel, especially toward the ends, where there are a few light tooth marks. As mentioned above, it is quite a bit discolored. There are spots of brassong on the lever, cap band, and the clip, especially the ball of the clip. No cracks or chips. It's restored and working very well.
