Color Silver plated body and cap with a pattern of fine checks. The trim is gold plated. White dot on top of clip.
Nib RIGHT OBLIQUE Sheaffer inlaid 14k gold nib. Subtle oblique angle, it will produce a crisp italic line. (We tuned and tested this nib, as we have found these Sheaffer stubs and obliques don't always write smoothly and can skip if we don't give them some tweaking. The nib was new and uninked when we got it, and we did use ink during the tuning process.)
Condition New old stock, never used. Original Sheaffer box. The clip had some plating tarnish on the very top, but we have polished it and it will be gone when the pen arrives. The imprints are clear. There is some light microscratching on the pen.
