Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil.
Product Name Sheaffer Triumph Crest Pencil (there's no number).
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – circa late 1930s or early 1940s.
Length Just a hair under 5-1/4".
Filling System It takes .9mm (or "Thin") leads which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism. We'll include a small packet of leads.
Color Golden brown striated color with a pointy style 1/10 14k gold filled cap with a pattern of groups of seven lines up it and a radius style clip which has been bent a little and has a sort of humped appearance.
Condition Very nice condition. There are some tiny pinpoint marks in the cap as well as one small dent on the lower cap (see photos), a slight flat spot at the very top of the cap. There are a few very small scratches on the lower barrel. The clip is slightly bent, and there's a little plating wear showing the silver metal underneath on the corners of the clip and the top of the cap. No cracks or chips, no personalization. It's working very well.
