Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1940s.

Filling System Vac Fil. We've replaced the piston and seals and it's working well.
Color Carmine (burgundy and black striation) with gold plated trim, a white dot, and a wide cap band 5/8" wide with etched lines on each side of the band. White dot above the clip.
Nib EXTRA-FINE two-tone conical 14k Triumph nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a chubby, beautifully colored and striated, shiny pen in a classic design pattern. The cap and barrel have light overall scratching. The cap has a few long, thin scratch marks. The cap band has light to some moderate microscratching. The clip has light microscratching, some tiny dot scratches, and a bit of plating wear along the upper edge. The white dot is perfect. The imprints are clear.
