Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer USA - This model was made from about 1940 to '42. White dot.
Length Fountain pen is 4-1/8" capped, and 5-3/8" with the cap posted. The cap screws on to the end of the barrel for posting.
Filling System Lever filling system. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working well.
Color 1/10th 14k gold filled over black plastic, with black section and end. The gold finish is in a pattern of groups of six and then two lines. The black end of the pen has threads on it for posting. White dot where the cap lip touches the barrel.
Nib FINE Lifetime nib with serial number F61427. Some masking wear.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This is a unique fountain pen that is compact when capped and that is shiny gold. Both the cap and barrel have some microscratching. The cap has one shallow dent and a few small dings, and it has some plating wear but no brassing except on the end of the lever. There's a scratch on the top peak. The black portions of the pen are excellent, dark and shiny. The gold content marking is clear.
