Pen comes in a cloth pen wrap in olive green, reminiscent of army uniforms, with Italian-flag ribbon around the edges. There is also a booklet with a biography of Baracca and information about the pen. The wrap fits into a yellow cardboard tube that's wrapped in a tri-color ribbon, reminiscent of the tubes that were dropped from planes and delivered military orders to the front lines. The yellow color matches Baracca's personal airplane.
Fun facts: Francesco Baracca was Italy's top fighter ace of World War I. The prancing horse logo that is engraved into the cap comes from his family's coat of arms, and was later adopted by Enzo Ferrari for that company's emblem.
