Color Red and Black swirls with the appearance of hard rubber, but we think it is probably celluloid. Black section. Gold plated trim.

Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is a shiny, nicely colored pen in a vintage design. The cap and barrel have light to moderate wear throughout. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The lever has moderate scratching and one dot of pitting at the top. The clip has brassing and some plating wear on the top ledge. There are three thin grooves where a trio of cap bands might have been, or the grooves could just have been decoration. The barrel imprint is clear.
