Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil
Product Name Eversharp 75. Here's a wonderful, incredibly comprehensive reference page on Wahl Eversharp pencils at the MECHANICAL PENCIL MUSEUM web site. The Two-metal tip identifies it as a 75.
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Eversharp USA - 1924-30
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System Extends 1.1mm (or "thick") leads via the traditional twist-mechanism. We'll include a small packet of vintage leads. Like many Wahl pencils the design requires you to push them in in order to retract. You can load the leads via the tip, or pull out the inner working and load the internal carrier,
Color Red Mottled finish seems to be hard rubber. (Wahl was making these pencils in celluloid and hard rubber.). The trim is gold filled, and the cone is chrome plated.
Condition Excellent condition though the tip of the cone is a little worn, and there's a little wear on some of the intricate parts of the flat-top design and around the bottom of the gold top-piece (it looks worse in our photos than it does in person). Overall this pencil is really quite beautiful, and working nicely.
