Manufacturer and Year Wahl Eversharp, USA - they started making this color in 1935.

Filling System Takes 1.1mm leads, which it extends and retracts well via the traditional twist mechanism. We will enclose a small container of vintage leads.
Color "Gold Shell," a marbled pattern of striped brown with gold plated trim. The top of the cap is a sort of orange, slightly transparent color.
Condition Very nice condition. No cracks or chips and no personalization. There are only light scratches and marks on the body. The cap band and the clip show brassing on their corners (see photos), and there's some scratching on the cone, as well as plating wear on its tip. The top of the cap has started to discolor to a rather pleasing orange, which happens frequently with these "shell" colors. The eraser is intact, but very dried out. The pencil is working very well.
